MESSAGE FROM THE TRUSTEES

Wishing everyone a Happy and Healthy New Year! Many thanks for your continuing support and may this New Year herald wonderful blessings for everyone.

Lama Lekshey and Lama Thubten both send their love to everyone and hope to be with us soon. In fact, Lama Lekshey is arranging his next visit and as soon as we are able we will let you know the details.

BEGINNERS TALKS BY LAMA LEKSHEY

These will be shown at the Centre on Sundays, from 26th February 2006. Newcomers asking so many questions, thirsty for more information, will be able to see these helpful and instructive talks which are so easy to understand for the first time. Everyone will enjoy seeing Lama Lekshey on DVD whether they were able to attend the teachings last year or not. DVD 's, priced £6.00 each, will also be available upon request at the Centre.

LOSAR - TIBETAN NEW YEAR TUESDAY 28 FEBRUARY 2006

STL Members at the Losar Celbration 2005

Everyone is welcome to join our celebration of Losar at the Centre from 7.15 p.m. onwards.

2006 is the Year of the Male Fire Dog and we will be chanting prayers, offering Mandalas and celebrating.

Please bring an offering of food. Offerings will then be shared by all.

There will be an article in the Bournemouth Evening Echo on Saturday, 25 February 2006—don't miss it!

CENTRE VOLUNTEER WORK DAY

The Centre has been open for over eighteen months now and it is a good time with Spring around the corner to give it a clean. So we will be having a Volunteer Workday on Sunday 2 April 2006 11.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. We will be cleaning all the inside and tidying and painting where necessary outside. Join us for lunch where we all bring a contribution. If you can spare a few hours on that day we would welcome your help. It's a good opportunity to get to know other members and gain some merit in the process! A list will be available at the Centre for you to sign up.

MEDITATION AFTERNOON - 12TH MARCH 2006

Another opportunity to spend a Sunday afternoon in silent meditation. We will develop our attention, sensitivity and awareness through sitting, walking and standing meditation. Come and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of our beautiful Centre. Everyone welcome! From 2.00-5.00 p.m. Suggested donation £5.00. Concessions £2.50
